We are not full-timers, but we have owned RVs for many years now. Our current RV is 10 years old this year, but you wouldn’t know it by looking at it, because the decals are in pretty good shape. We bought this one and completely rehabbed it, because the previous owner had torn up the inside of it and the floors had to be mostly replaced. But if I get a hint of a 10 or 15 year restriction, I absolutely will NOT stay there. I don’t want my business going to places like that. I get they have their reasoning - good or bad, but I have choices as well. My choice is to go somewhere where we might be parked next to a half-broken down popup with a young family cutting their teeth on RV life. Or a 20 year old bus - rehabbed or not yet. I’m good with that, or the brand new Prevost being our neighbors.

Reminds me of Tesla owners and their liberal mindset thinking they should travel on free electricity provided by Tesla Superchargers. Nothing is free any more, so stop asking for free.

In regards to Reflectix, we also found if you install it on every exterior wall that is hidden you will see a big difference. Examples of this is within cabinets, drawers and etc. It will help as much as doing your windows. Love gratefulglamper....

I'm just thinking about getting into RVing (thus, researching it) and, as you said, the only reason for this is obviously to restrict the people based on how rich they are. I say, fine, let them do that. But don't accept reservations, then reject them later on. Uh-uh. If they want rules like that, they have to state them up front so people know enough to pass on them and find somewhere else. People have to be able to plan. Considering that you cannot park an RV just anywhere, uninviting someone based solely on the age of their RV could really put someone in a bind, especially if they can't find a wifi network in the area.

There is one campground in Ocala that ONLY allows Class A RVs. No other styles, regardless of age, length, make, model, or condition.

Here's why: Blackrock and Vangaard are buying up all the trailer parks and RV parks. Resist the Satanic NWO!!!! They're just NOT going to be making Human friendly rules.

The biggest problem is all the folks who could never drive in the first place rushing out and buying any sort of RV-We see this incompetence all the time here in Montana-If you cant drive stay home!

I keep my doors locked in my cars at all times, even when the act of shifting to park unlocks the doors, I immediately lock them until I check surrounding area to get out.

I actually found a breaker at my local hardware store that was the exact one that went bad for my microwave outlet!

6:56 Oh how I wish I could post pictures as comments on here! I have NEVER seen a dollar tree look organized and fully stocked. I was thinking about this the first 6 minutes and then when I saw the wallpaper, I had to comment. Our wallpaper / peel and stick tile is always on a bottom bin with 100 other things with no organization what so ever. I’ve got a few dollar stores around my area (probably 5-6 I can go to) and NONE look anything like that store!

When you own a campground you can do whatever you want. Limit the age of RV’s, check in time, number of people on a site, how many vehicles per site, how many dogs. This has been going on for 22 years we have owned a RV. Stop with the drama. Move on.

Thanks for the video. I think, like a lot of other situations in life, this decision (if it spreads to enough camp grounds) will cause a response from the side that does not discriminate against the age of a vehicle and large numbers of people will move to support that decision

I just had a thought what about the retro camper group that refurbish old campers and make them new again with modern upgrades internally

Man I had no idea that is happening we bought a 2005 motor home and just took it on an incredible journey 9300 miles to Alaska and back and even though it is well maintained that trip put some serious grime and a large bug collection . I am sure none of those parks you are talking about would have let us past the gate looking like it was nearing the end of the trip wow

Don't get mad at the campgrounds. They have to draw a line somewhere to protect themselves from undesirables. See the streets of SF or Seattle. Do you want campgrounds to have heroin needles all over the place or your kid to find fenty on the ground and think it's candy? It's the sad truth.

Buy a little plot of land in the woods somewhere and set up your own camp site. Other people are assholes nowadays. There's always someone to take the fun out.

Rv’s used to be associated with camping, now it’s thought of as an activity for the rich . Just saying, when my wife and I would take the kids tent camping we encountered plenty of Rv snobbery . That was years ago. I can only imagine it’s worse nowadays. I didn’t know RV owners snobbed each other. We still tent camp, kids grown and in our mid fifties , we’re going this weekend . We usually go to state parks, cheaper and people don’t seemed to care what you camp in , or what year.

FYI - Teflon tape on those fittings is inappropriate as the threads don't provide the seal. The seal is between the rounded/cupped ends. The threads just bring those ends tightly together. Teflon tape is really less useful than most believe for that very reason. You need to be aware of how a pipe/tubing joint seals to know if Teflon tape is called for.

Great video guys..! Also, when verifying the + and - of wires use the voltmeter by touching one wire with a probe and another probe to the metal on the chassis. Putting the probs on both of the wires will only verify that power is circulating through that part of the harness. I doesn't tell you which is + and -.. Cheers!

I'm the same, but "driving until the wheels fall off" is exactly why these places have age restrictions. I'm not saying it's right or even remotely cool to do so, but I understand. I'll just pass them by and go somewhere a little more flexible. You have to imagine those age restricted campgrounds are going to be sticklers for every little thing. That's their choice, and I'm sure they're going to get plenty of business. It's our choice to keep these old vehicles going, and we have to pay these "taxes" in order to do it.

Well that campground is alienating customers. So less customers less money. I hope eventually no money. Great business model, sounds like our current administration.

The worst ones I have had to deal with have been around Portland Oregon. Most of them will only take a money order. None will take cash or card and worse. You end up in a facility where if you have a tent trailer. Or if you have Arv trailer that there isn't enough space to even park. The trailer legally so definitely watch your yourself

You should see where the crazies put my water pump. It's in the far back corner with all the other pluming. I hope it never fails. We use motion lights in the pantry. I Velcro them in with the light shining into the cabinet. Defiantly one of the best mods yet.

That almost sounds like dealing with an HOA. What does this due to the used RV market sales I wonder?
